GAP, Inc. In-Store Retail Displays
Overview & Objectives -
Gap Inc. is one of the world's largest specialty
retailers, with about 3,000 stores and fiscal 2004
revenues of $16.3 billion. LPI was awarded a major
POP project that played directly to our expertise
with extra large press sheets (77” in this case),
large quantities, loads of details and logistical
issues and short time lines.
The stated objective - Quality, accuracy and quick
turn = Customer satisfaction and a growing business
relationship!
The Achievement -
LPI actively utilizes its 240,000 sq. ft. facility
which is made to order for projects like this that
require necessary room to move and handle materials.
42 different display image versions
(49” X 49” final size)
within 16,000 press sheets were mounted to
corrugated board, die cut and scraped, married with
appropriate assembly hardware, kitted into large
oversized cartons and labeled and shipped to 1,100 +
locations in the US.
Mission accomplished with congrats from the customer
and Extra Mile Awards being earned by the LPI
Account Manager and Sales Representative.
